PUBLISH NAMES OF INDIVIDUALS WHO DONATED TO TABUNG HARAPAN MALAYSIA

TTF: We’re being told that the Tabung Harapan Malaysia collection breached the RM100 million mark as of 3pm today (see news item below). In 2016, we were told that a Citizen’s Declaration amassed more than a million signatures months ahead of the (then) stipulated deadline.

That turned out to be a lie.

It was later discovered that Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his men offered to pay off a computer expert to sell them a database that contained several hundred thousand particulars of anonymous individuals. The computer whiz handed them the database, but the money never came. Mahathir is a man who goes to great lengths to create the perception that he is wanted.

And that brings me to my point.

The Tabung Harapan Malaysia is yet another one of his tools to impress upon us that he is needed. There is no telling if the fund has breached the RM100 million mark or if the figure is yet another fabrication by Mahathir’s men. As a matter of fact, there is no telling if Tan Sri Vincent Tan and gang had contributed 70 – 80% of the sum to help Mahathir hoodwink the rakyat.

In light of this, TTF hereby challenges the Prime Minister to publish the names of individuals who contributed to the fund and the amount each one of them contributed. If Lim Kit Siang could publicly declare the name of an underaged boy who donated to the fund, I don’t see what’s stopping Mahathir from making known the identities of others who chipped in.

PUTRAJAYA: The Tabung Harapan Malaysia collection breached the RM100 million as of 3pm today.

Generous Malaysians have dug deep into their pockets and contributed to the fund, which was set up to enable Malaysians to donate and help reduce the national debt.

The Finance Ministry, in a statement on its website today, said the amount now stands at a whopping RM108.2 million.

On May 30, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had announced the setup of the Tabung Harapan Malaysia to provide Malaysians with a platform for them to play their part in helping to ease the government’s burden in dealing with the RM1 trillion national debt.

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng had said that contributions to the fund would be tax deductible. He had assured Malaysians that the money would only be used to pay the debt.

Sumbangan Tabung Harapan adalah satu penipuan. Sebagai contoh, Tabung Bukit Cina di Melaka anjuran DAP. Mana duit itu sekarang?
