OUR COUNTRY DEBT IS ALREADY WITH THE DALMATIANS AND GERMAN SHEPHERDS

News summary:

The government has denied claims that it incurred new debts totaling RM22 billion.

However, you don’t really need to take anyone’s word for anything.

All you need to do is check the real time value of the national debt by visiting the following website:

https://www.nationaldebtclocks.org/debtclock/malaysia

As you can see, the debt is currently at RM702.7 billion (at the time of publication).

The value was RM686.8 billion on the 9th of May 2018, the day Pakatan Harapan won the general election.

Do the math, and you can see that the debt increased by RM16 billion since Pakatan took over government.

So perhaps Dato’ Amiruddin Hamzah meant to say that the debt had not increased by RM22 billion as claimed by the opposition, but RM16 billion, which, to him, is “probably nothing.”

But the last I checked, Pakatan was supposed to help reduce the national debt as part of its efforts to ‘save’ Malaysia.

Instead, it managed to raise the debt by a whopping RM16 billion in less than three months.

What this means, is that the country, which Dr Mahathir Mohamad insisted prior to GE14 was going to the dogs, is probably in a dog cannel somewhere being chewed on by Dalmatians and German Shepherds.

Main news:

KUALA LUMPUR: The government has denied claims that it had incurred new debts totaling RM22 billion, as alleged by the opposition.

Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Amiruddin Hamzah said that the government is currently taking on the previous debt racked up by the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration.

“Regarding (allegations of ) a new RM22 billion debt, I need to be given time because as far as I know, there is no new debt incurred (by the government).

“I am only looking at the (debt) figures left to us and now the government is looking for the best way to resolve the matter,” he said.

He was answering a supplementary question from Datuk Ahmad Maslan (BN-Pontian) at the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday.

Ahmad had asked the deputy minister for more details on Tabung Harapan and on the veracity of reports which claimed that the government has since incurred a debt of RM22 billion.

Maslan’s additional question was raised after Amiruddin had replied to a question from Fong Kui Lun (PH-Bukit Bintang) on how much Tabung Harapan has collected so far, among others.

Amiruddin said the establishment of Tabung Harapan was inspired by the people, who wanted to help the government and not meant to burden the people.

“For your information Yang Berhormat (Ahmad), a person came to the Prime Minister’s Office and donated two RM50 notes to help pay off the government’s debt.

“After that, many more people came to donate. As a result, the Cabinet agreed to set it up (Tabung Harapan) in line with the Financial Procedure Act 1957,” said Amiruddin.

Replying to an additional question from Fong on how long Tabung Harapan would be kept open to accept donations, Amiruddin said that the government has yet to determine the deadline.

“I believe that many more people wish to donate to the fund, not just from locals but also those from abroad.

“We have received around RM10 million in donations from abroad,” he said.

SPJ you are talking nonsense, what make you say Najib check mate Tun M. Actually Tun M much in need of the project for his cronies. Initially his annoucement to scrape the ECRL project just to make shure the share value of the company (main contractor) involved in the project goes down. At the lowest point, he'll tell his kronies to purchase the shares so that they can control the project. This is what we call 'capitalis cronysm'.

I think Amiruddin lying to the rakyat in reference to 'Financial Procedure Act 1957' on donation. Please read the act as follows:

An Act to provide for the control and management of the public
finances of Malaysia, and for financial and accounting procedure,
including procedure for the collection, custody and payment of the
public moneys of the Federation and of the States, and the
purchase, custody and disposal of public property, other than land,
of the Federation and of the States and for matters connected
therewith.

This is for the government public revinue and expenditure such as taxes and other government revinue. There's nothing stated on the act the word 'donation'. Is 'donation' considered as revinue? Therefore 'donation' is not relevan to this act. Please don't fool the rakyat, Minister.
